Owls Resume Competition At Wheaton Tri-Match

NORTON, Mass.--After three weeks without competition, the Keene State College swimming and diving teams were back in action on Saturday in a tri-match against Wheaton College and Springfield College at the Balfour Natatorium.

Men's Highlights

The Owls got a second place finish in the 200 medley relay, as Zach Payne, JT Barth, Patrick Doyle, and Michael Morman combined to finish in 1:43.18.    Payne also added a second place finish in the 100 backstroke in 56.20, and Barth was third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.06.    Tyler Young added a fourth place nod in the 200 fly in 2:12.80, as did George Colarullo IV in the 3-meter dive with a score of 205.65.

Andrew Daur was fourth in the 200 back in 2:08.11, and Barth was also second in the 200 breastroke in 2:22.95.    Colarullo also grabbed fourth place in the 1-meter dive in 218.76.  Payne was fourth in the 200 IM in 2:08.33, while Morman, Tyler Young, Quint Kimmel, and Jacob Peters were fourth in the 200 free relay in 1:35.04.

Women's Highlights

Freshman Jaelin Jang was third in the 200 free, in 2:03.62, and Samantha Dickinson was third in the 500 free in 5:33.63.  Jang added another third place finish, this time in the 200 IM in 2:19.45.

The Owls are back in action next weekend, heading to Bentley University on November 23.
