    KEENE, N.H. 5/2/11 – With finals weeks at Keene State College coinciding with the start of Little East Conference tournament play, Owl athletes will be tested in the classroom as well as on the field. Keene State men’s and women’s lacrosse and softball teams begin play in their respective LEC tournaments on Thursday.

    KEENE, N.H. – Keene State College sophomore Samantha Pratt (Bristol, Conn.) picked up her seventh save of the season in the first game of a doubleheader split against Southern Maine, breaking Lindsey Blood’s record of six set back in 1997. Pratt, who also cracked her first career home-run in the game, is 3-2 on the season with a 2.72 ERA and 27 strikeouts. Keene State will host the Little East Conference tournament starting Thursday, at 10 a.m. The Owls are set to play Southern Maine for a noon start.

    KEENE, N.H. 5/1/10 – Keene State College and Southern Maine posted comeback wins in a Little East Conference softball doubleheader at Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday. The Owls (21-12-1, 8-4 LEC) came from behind to defeat the Huskies 5-3 in the first game. Southern Maine (9-27, 5-7 LEC) overcame an early deficit to win the nightcap 8-3.
