    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Keene State College is the top athletic program in the Little East Conference for the 12th consecutive campaign, according to the 2011-12 Little East Commissioner’s Cup standings released by the conference office this afternoon. The Owls finished either first or second in the final regular season standings in 11 of their 17 conference sponsored sports (.647) to average 7.8974 points on a scale of eight.

The Owls sported a cumulative grade point average of 3.06 to outdistance themselves from Eastern Connecticut State University (2.96).

    KEENE, N.H. 2/28/12 – Juniors Ryan Martin (Wayne, Maine) and Rashad Wright (Agawam, Mass.) were named to the All-Little East Conference men’s basketball team, and senior Courtney Cirillo (Windsor Locks, Conn.) was selected for the All-LEC women’s basketball team. The honorees were announced on Tuesday. In addition, freshman Tom Doyle (Wallingford, Conn.) earned a spot on the men’s LEC All-Rookie team.
