Junior who will be front-runner on the cross country team and a top competitor in the 5K and 3K steeplechase on the track this season....cross country: 2009: moved to the front of the pack last fall, finishing third (19:13) at LEC championships, eighth (18:33) at Saratoga, and 10th (19:31) at KSC Invitational…was Owls top finisher at New England Championship (19:21) and second runner (22:55) at NCAA regionals…2008: earned All-LEC honors with her fifth place (19:07.74) finish at the championship....placed 14th at KSC Invitational (20:04) and was the Owls second runner at the New England regional meet...track: 2009-10: outdoors, LEC champion in the steeplechase (11:16.11)… set a school record in the 3K steeplechase (11:01.44) at Oneonta…earned New England DIII honors with a sixth place finish (18:30.07) in the 5K and ECAC DIII honors with a fifth place performance (11:07.90) in the steeplechase…set a personal best time (18:02.43) in the 5K at Larry Ellis Invitational…, made an immediate impact in the long distance events for the Owls...capped her rookie season with her fastest performance in the 3,000-meter run, covering the ECAC Division III course in 10:44.93 to place 10th....earned All-New England Alliance honors in the 800-meter race (seventh, 2:34.73) and mile (fifth, 5:39.14), while just barely missing out on All-Little East recognition...was tabbed the rookie track athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 1, 2009...outdoors, named All-LEC with a third place finish (4:58.36) in the 1,500-meter race....was a member of winning 4x400 relay team....top time in 3K (10:44.93) posted at the ECAC Division III championship...top outdoor 5K time (18:35.57)came at the Larry Ellis Invitational... wrapped up a strong freshman indoor track season by being named the LEC rookie of the year…Before KSC: a four-time recipient of Bolton High's female cross country athlete of the year...placed fourth in State (Class S) championship as a junior...won consecutive high jump honors at Journal Inquirer Invitational...Andrea is a nutrition major.
