A six-foot, lefty who will provide KSC with a hard-hitter on the right side and a competent server...a smart, coachable player who will motivate her teammates...sat out 2009 with a back injury...2008: Compiled 89 kills, 16 assists, 29 digs and 22 blocks in her first-season as an Owl...Had a career-high nine kills vs. Bridgewater State (09/13/08)...Also dug a career-high five digs vs. Bowdoin College (10/04/09) and added six kills. Before KSC: Transferred from Polk (Fla.) Community College her junior season...played two seasons at Polk CC where she earned second-team All-Conference honors in 2007...named to All-League team as a senior at Westlake (N.Y.) High...Julie is considering a major in athletic training.
