Leading the men, senior Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.) broke the school record in the discus throw and won the hammer and for the women, junior Andrea Walsh (Bolton, Conn.) placed fourth in the 10,000 meter race and provisionally qualified for NCAA Championships.

University of Massachusetts Dartmouth paced the Little East circuit with two of the six major awards, while Eastern Connecticut State University, Keene State College, Rhode Island College, and the University of Southern Maine were each honored with one representative.

    FITCHBURG, Mass. 4/3/11 – The Keene State College men’s and women’s track and field teams opened up their 2011 outdoor season with strong performances at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational at Fitchburg State on Sunday. The women’s team finished in second place with 122 points, while the men finished in fourth tallying 89 points.
