Chamberlain, Fazio Honored by LEC
NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. 2/8/10 - Junior Allison Chamberlain (Scarborough, ME) and freshman Eric Fazio (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) earned weekly LEC honors for their efforts on Saturday. Sophomore Derek D'Amours (Agawam, Mass.) was also name to the honor roll for his efforts this week.

Track Athlete of the Week
Allison Chamberlain (Scarborough, Maine), Junior, Keene
State College
Chamberlain improved on her NCAA Championship provisional
qualifying time in the 800-meter race with her first place
finish at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic on Saturday. The
Scarborough, Maine product registered the top time in Division III
this season, clipping the clock at 2 minutes, 13.37 seconds. She
also placed eighth in the 200-meter race (27.39).

Rookie of the Week
Eric Fazio (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.), Freshman, Forward,
Keene State College
In his lone game of the week, Fazio reached double figures in
scoring column in a loss at Little East rival Rhode Island College
on Feb. 6. The Hopewell, Junction, N.Y. native netted 11 points, on
5-for-11 from the field, pulled in three rebounds, posted two
steals and redirected a shot in just 22 minutes of action. Fazio
scored six of his 11 points in the second frame to give the Owls an
eight-point advantage before fouling out with 3 minutes, 19 seconds
remaining in regulation.
