Three Owls Honored By Little East

KEENE, N.H. 4/7/08 - The following Keene State athletes were recpients of Little East honors this week:

TRACK AND FIELD

Rookie Field Athlete of the Week Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.), Freshman, Keene State College

Kolacz notched a pair of top-five finishes at the 2008 Jim Sheehan Memorial Meet hosted by Fitchburg State College this past weekend. The Brentwood, N.H. product placed second in the discus throw (141'-06") and fourth in the shot put (42'-09.75). Keene State College finished fourth in the team standings with 124.50 points

Field athlete of the Week

Bryanna Brown (Nashua, N.H.), Freshman, Keene State College

Brown captured the shot put event this past weekend at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Meet with a throw of 38'-04.00".

 WOMEN'S LACROSSE

Rookie of the Week Jamie Albert (Southington, Conn.), Freshman, Attack, Keene State College

Albert scored nine points, including seven goals, as Keene State College posted a 1-1 record for the week. The freshman from Southington, Conn. netted four goals against Division II Franklin Pierce University.
