Beam, Knoblock Earn Weekly LEC Honors

N. Dartmouth, Mass. 2/14/11 – Keene State College freshman diver Amber Beam (Keene, N.H.) and senior runner Amy Knoblock (Plymouth, Mass.) each earned weekly honors from the Little East Conference for their efforts this past weekend.

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Amy Knoblock (Plymouth, Mass.), Senior, Keene State College
Knoblock captured two individual events and one team relay at the 2011 New England Alliance and Little East Championships this past weekend at the University of Southern Maine. The Plymouth, Mass. product cruised to the 600-meter run (1:37.03) and 1,000-meter run (3:01.93) titles.  She ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x800 relay (10:03.61).

Rookie Diver of the Week
Amber Beam (Keene, N.H.), Freshman, Keene State College
Making her first appearance at the NEISDA Championships, Beam placed ninth in the one-meter diving event with 264.55 points.
