Spirited senior captain who will concentrate on the I.M., breast, and distance events this season...As a junior: finished fifth in the 100 breast and 1,000 free at last year's LEC meet...was eighth in the 400 IM at New Englands...As a sophomore: posted an eighth place finish in the 200 I.M. at LEC Championships....qualified for New Englands in three events...As a freshman: placed eighth and ninth respectively in the 100 and 200 breaststroke races at LEC meet....High school: was a four-year varsity swimmer at Londonderry High School where she placed in the 100 breast (2002) and the 200 I.M. (2003) at state meet....Shannon is an elementary education major.
