N.E. Swim: Seligman and Pryor Take Second

'SPRINGFIELD, MASS.  2/18/06 - Six Owls and a relay team earned All-New England honors in the second day of competition at the New England Division II-III Swim Championships at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. on Saturday. 

 

 

Katlin Pryor (Jaffrey, N.H.) led the KSC women's team with a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle race (2:01.18).  Devon Trabilsy (Hillsborough, N.J.) was fourth in the 400 individual medley (4:59.34) and the 800 freestyle relay team of Kelly Widman (Middlebury, Conn.), Caitlin Coulombe (Linclon, R.I.), Trabilsy, and Pryor finished third in a time of 8:26.60.

 

 

Scott Seligman (Clifton Park, N.Y.) finished second in the 100-yard beastroke race (1:00.93) to lead the KSC men's team.

 

 

Kyle Uricchio (Enfield, Con.) finished third in the 400 individual medley relay (4:25.70) and Charlie Garrigan (Camden, Me.) and Adam Van Brandenburg (Tenafly, N.J.) placed third (1:49.13) and sixth (1:51.09) respectively in the 200 freestyle race. Dan Ormrod (Branford, Con.) was also fifth in the 100 backstroke (58.20).

 

 

The top six finishes in individual races and top three relay team earn All-New England honors.
