Bradford Named to ESPN Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team

KEENE, N.H. 11/3/10 – Keene State College’s Katie Bradford (Lebanon, N.H.) is having a super senior season on the field and in the classroom.  Bradford, who earlier this season set the school record for goals in a career (61), was named to the ESPN Academic All-District® women's soccer team on Wednesday.

“It’s a great honor,” said Bradford, who was named to the second-team.  “It’s nice to be recognized for my academic accomplishments as well as my athletic achievements.”

Bradford, a nutrition major, is the second Owl women’s soccer player to receive District Academic honors in the past two years.  Jaclyn Grant also earned the honor last season.

Bradford, who leads the Owls in scoring with 17 goals, 15 assists and 49 points, is also a member of the KSC softball team.
