Keating To Be Inducted Into St. Edward's School Hall of Fame

KEENE, N.H., 8/12/10 – Keene State College assistant women’s soccer coach Stephanie Keating is one of seven athletes and coaches who will be a member of the inaugural St. Edward’s School Hall of Fame induction class.

The induction ceremony at the high school located in Vero Beach, Fla. will take place during homecoming on Friday, Oct. 8.

Keating attended Saint Edward’s School is a graduate of the class of 1999. She played on the Saint Edward’s Women’s Varsity Soccer Team, Women’s Varsity Golf, the Varsity Softball Team and Women’s Varsity Lacrosse. Stephanie was the leading soccer scorer for six straight years on the varsity soccer team beginning as a seventh grader. She scored 173 goals, was a five-time recipient of the school most valuable player award, a three-time first-team All-State player, and was recognized by the Press Journal as well as Channel 12 in addition to being named one of the Top 100 Athletes of the Century in Vero Beach.

Stephanie went on to play Soccer for University of Tampa, University of Florida and Louisiana State University. She has played for two Semi-Pro Teams, the Western Mass Lady Pioneers and the Vermont Voltage.

Stephanie is set to begin her fifth season as amber of the KSC women’s soccer coaching staff.
