Sawyer named to ECAC women's lacrosse All-Star team
KEENE, N.H. 5/26/10 – Keene State College’s Lauren Sawyer has been named to the ECAC Division III New England Women's Lacrosse All-Star team announced on Wednesday.
Sawyer, a junior attack from Westbrook, Maine was a third-team selection.
Sawyer finished the regular season with 23 goals, a school record 60 assists, and 83 points. She broke her own mark with nine assists in a game against Colby-Sawyer and added to her record for assists (154) in a career.
Her 60 assists tied her for the top spot in Division III while her 3.3 assists per game average was third-best in the country.
Keene State, which captured the LEC regular season title for the first time and claimed the ECAC New England championship, also set a program record (14-5) for wins in a season.
