Albert named co-ECAC offensive player of the week
KEENE, N.H. 4/8/10 – Keene State’s Jamie Albert was named ECAC Division III New England co-women’s lacrosse offensive player of the week on Thursday.
Albert, a junior from Southington, Conn., paced the Keene State attack this past week, scoring 18 points, on 11 goals and seven assists to lead the Owls to a 2-0 week. She netted at least a hat trick in victories over Division II Franklin Pierce and conference-rival Eastern Connecticut. Albert netted a season-best seven markers and handed out a pair of assists as Keene State snapped the Warriors’ 21-game conference win streak on April 3. Earlier in the week, she used a balanced scoring attack with four goals and five assists in the victory over the Ravens.
Albert leads Keene State in scoring with 23 goals and 33 points.
Albert shared the honor with Danielle Cate of the University of New England.
