Kristin Degou, Senior, Women's Basketball

After going scoreless in the Owls' opening season game against Nichols College,  Degou exploded for a career high 29 points in Keene State's 73-64 win over Regis College in the opening-round of the KSC Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday.  The senior from Newburyport, Mass. hit nine of her 14 shots from the field, connected on five of her eight three-point shots, and was six of eight from the line.  Degou averaged 21 points in the two games to earn tournament  MVP honors,  The Owls, who defeated the University of New England 84-47 in the championship game, have captured their tip-off tournament 13 out of the past 14 years.
