Bacher named Little East Rookie of the Week

Bacher was named LEC rookie of the week on Monday

KEENE, N.H. 1/5/09 - Keene State's Amanda Bacher has been named the Little East conference women's basketball rookie of the week.

Bacher , a freshman forward from Concord, N.H, averaged 12 points and 3.5 rebounds to help Keene State capture its holiday tournament. The freshman forward shot five-for-six from the field, while connecting on each of her two attempts from the line to finish with 12 points against York College. The following afternoon, Bacher netted 12 points and pulled in four rebounds in the championship game against Curry College.
