Well established sophomore pitcher with great stuff who joins Owls staff after pitching last season at Sussex County Community College in New Jersey...has good velocity and movement on her pitches...will also see playing time at first when not in the circle...At SCCC: posted a 12-12 record last season with a 1.64 ERA at Sussex...tallied strikeouts in 145 innings....earned Garden State Athletic conference and All-Region second team honors...also named to scholar-athlete team....played three seasons at Kittatinny (N.J.) Regional High where she pitched and played at first and third base....a three-time All-Conference pitcher who also received player of the year honors from local cable station....also named to All-Western New Jersey team... her senior Kittatinny team roared to a 20-6 record, shared the title of the Sussex County Interscholastic League with Jefferson its first SCIL title since 1997and secured its first NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 2 championship since 1992....Sara is majoring in graphic design at Keene State.
