Hard throwing sophomore who proved to be a fine addition to Owls pitching staff last season ...should improve after pitching through shoulder problems last spring...Career highlights: Posted a 7-4 record with 1.92 ERA as a freshman…was second on the team with 65 strikeouts…first college win was a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts against Franciscan University (3/16/09) in Florida…fanned six in win over Western Conn. (4/19/09)…pitched four-hitter against Western Conn. in LEC tournament (5/2/09)…Before KSC:  earned four varsity letters at Exeter (N.H.) high helping team make three trips to the state tournament... named to Varsity Magazine as a junior and senior... fanned 21 in a game against rival Winnacunnet... Ashley is an elementary education/sociology major.
