2009 Softball Sponsorship Opportunities are Still Available!

Once again the Keene State College softball program would like to announce our intention to stream video for 7 doubleheaders (14 games) during the 2009 season. The video will be streamed to the World Wide Web, so whenever you have access to the Internet you can watch these games live! However, if you are unable to watch the game live, it is our intention to archive the games allowing you to watch or replay the game at your convenience.

The games will be covered using one camera from behind home plate.  It will be a better view than last year, but the video is still quite rudimentary.  Hopefully, in the future with continued support we will be able to have multiple camera angles available for a better overall experience.  This year's scheduled games are:

Our cost to provide this exciting new technology is $100 per game, so we are writing to ask for video stream "sponsors" at the rate of $100. As a sponsor we will credit you by name during each broadcast, and as a business sponsor, you may send us a brief commercial script that will be read during each broadcast as well. With so much "down time" in softball, we will use the commercials and credits multiple times during each game. The number of "hits" from last year's broadcasts was just under 1000.  They started low, and increased as the season progressed.  This was probably due to lack of awareness.  For the last game of the season, there were 229.  If your generous support exceeds 14 sponsors, the "extra" money will be used for future improvements in live video broadcasts.
