Courtney Savoie, Freshman, Softball

In three appearances for the Owls last week, Savoie picked up two wins and a save. The freshman pitcher from Stratham, N.H. didn't allow a run in 12.2 innings of work in the circle.  She tossed five innings of two hit ball with six strikeouts and one walk against UMB.  On Saturday, she fanned the only two batters she faced to notch a save against USM and wrapped up her week by pitching a two hitter in a 2-0 shutout win over ECSU with seven strikeouts and four walks.
