Katie Allenson (Clifton Park, N.Y.), Junior, Designated Player, Keene State College

Allenson led Keene State College into the championship game of the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference New England Tournament this past week, hitting .467 (7-for-15). The native of Clifton Park, N.Y. hit safely in four of her five contests, including registering multiple hits in three games. On May 10, Allenson went 2-for-3 from the plate, matching her season bests in home runs (2) and RBI (5) against Simmons College. She also belted a dinger against Brandeis University in the championship tilt the following afternoon.
