Second-year runner looking to improve his times on the trails and on the track…will be in the running for a pot on the Owl varsity cross country squad this fall…hopes to build on fine summer of training in Keene….will run mid-distance events on the track.

2010-11: Cross Country: Top freshman performances included a 29:26 in the UMass-Dartmouth sub-varsity race and a 30:26 at the LEC Championships…Track: Posted a time of 2:53.11 in the 1,000 at the Wesleyan Invitational and a 1:29.74 in the 600 at the Smith College Winter Classic….Outdoors:  best 800 time of 2:04.83 was recorded at the Springfield College Invitational.

Before KSC: Ran four years of cross country and three seasons of track for the Blackbirds…set a PR (17:45) on home course as a senior….did the 400, 800 and mile on the track for KHS….4x800 team qualified for the Meet of the Champions…

Personal:  Mother Lauren works in the marketing and communications department at KSC…Jay intends to major in sustainable product design with a studio art minor.
