Jared Samuel, Senior, Men's Cross Country
Running on a wet and slippery course at the Cumberland Recreation Course on Saturday, Samuel finished seventh at the NCAA New England Regional Cross Country championship to lead the Owls back to the nationals for the first time in three years. Samuel, a senior from Londonderry, N.H., posted a time of 25:32 on the 8,000-meter course. "It feels amazing," said Samuel, who qualified for the NCAAs as an individual his sophomore season. "There definitely a feeling of redemption after not qualifying the past three years."
The Keene State men placed third overall with 132 points.
