Samuel won the 3,000-meter race at Dartmouth on Saturday

Senior Jared Samuel (Londonderry, N.H.) was the first KSC runner to the finish line, leading Keene State to the Saratoga Invitational cross country championship on Saturday.  Placing second on the wet and sloppy 8K course, Samuel posted a time of 25:31. 

The Owl men, ranked sixth in New England, placed all five of their scorers in the top-10 to claim the championship with 23 points.  Plattsburgh was second with 54 points.
