Keene State standout swimmer and aspiring tri-athlete who begins his first full season competing on the Owls cross country and track teams...joined outdoor track team last spring, posting a sixth place finish (16:51.42) in the 5K....wrapped up his summer triathlon schedule at the Mossman Olympic-Distance Triathlon in Bridgeport, Conn. He came in ninth place and posted his fastest time ever in the Olympic distance of 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run...was first in his age group (20-24) among the 337 competitors...Swimming: NEISDA champion (500 free and 800 free relay...Before KSC:  a four-year letter-winner and captain of  Pomeraug High team....won the Class M State Championship and set the high school 400 freestyle record as a senior...qualified for YMCA Nationals 2004-07....was Conn. US Swimming Top16 in numerous events...won the Pomperaug leadership award in 2007 and the Conn. Association of Public School Student Recognition award in 2006...Dan is a management major.
