Three Owls competed at the Penn Relays on Thursday

PHILADELPHIA, PA.  4/23/10 – Three members of the Keene State track team competed at the prestigious Penn Relays at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on Thursday night.

Sophomore Andrea Walsh (Bolton, Conn.) posted a school record and NCAA Division III Championship provisional qualifying time of 11:02.66 in the women’s college steeplechase race. 

Junior Eric McKnight (Newtown, Conn.) also recorded an NCAA Championship provisional qualifying time (31:03.27) competing in the college 10K race.

Racing in the Olympic development 5,000 event, senior Jared Samuel (Londonderry, N.H.) clocked a personal-best time of 14:47.70.

Keene State competes at the Little East Alliance Championship at UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday.
