Kolacz named ECAC field athlete of the week

Bryan Kolacz posted an NCAA qualifying mark on Saturday

KEENE, N.H. 4/1/09 - Keene State sophomore Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.) was named ECAC Division III field athlete of the week on Wednesday.

Kolacz finished first in the both hammer and discus events with school-record throws at TrinityCollege's Bantam Invitational. The sophomore from broke his Keene State record and posted an automatic NCAA Championship mark with his first place finish (189-09 feet) in the hammer throw. He also set an Owl record (149 feet) with his first place effort in the discus.
