Kolacz named ECAC co-field athlete of the week

Sophomore Bryan Kolacz has been named the USTFCCCA regional field athlete of the year

KEENE,N.H. 2/19/09 - Keene State's Bryan Kolacz continues to earn honors for throwing his weight around.

The sophomore from Brentwood, N.H., was named the ECAC Division III co-field athlete of the week on Wednesday.  He completed a sweep of the throwing events at the Little East Conference Championship Saturday, winning the weight throw and the shot put. Kolacz automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III championships and set a Keene State record in the weight throw with a toss of 18.5 meters. He also claimed the shot put with a throw of 13.63 meters.
