Shand led Keene State to a 4-1 conference victory over No. 13 Eastern Connecticut on Sept. 26. The freshman striker from Keene, N.H. registered a pair of goals, including the game-winner in the 51st minute. The Keene win is its first away from its home field this season after three losses. With the score tied 1-1 early in the second half, Shand scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season on a 35-yard free kick that bounced in off the crossbar. Shand rounded out the scoring in the 80^th minute with his fifth goal.
