Owls move into regional soccer rankings

KEENE, N.H. 9/29/09 - Both Keene State men's and women's soccer teams made their first appearance of the year in the NSCAA regional polls announced on Tuesday.
Keene State women (7-2) are ninth while the Owl men (5-3) find themselves in the 10th spot.
Both teams posted key Little East Conference wins on Saturday against Eastern Conn. Winners of five of their last six games, the Owl women edged the Warriors 2-1 in a game decided in overtime. Riding a modest three game winning streak, the KSC men knocked off ECSU 4-1 in Mansfield, Conn.
The Owls play non-conference games on Wednesday. The KSC men host Babson College and the Owl women are on the road at Worcester State.
