Big, strong sophomore expected to be a key defender in the Owls' backfield this season...Career highlights:  2008: came out of nowhere to earn a starting spot in the Keene State's final six games last season...an intelligent player who should improve with last year's on-the-job training...Before KSC: played four varsity seasons at Rockland (Mass.) high where he earned all-league honors as the team's senior captain...sophomore squad won first conference title in 16 years....also played on school's three-time Division champion basketball team...Joe has yet to decide on a major.
