Owls tie Warriors 1-1

'KEENE, N.H.  10/7/06 - Keene State and Eastern Connecticut State battled at Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday ending in a 1-1 tie.

Maxim Fantl (W. Hartford, CT) scored the game's first goal to put ECSU on top 1-0.  Ralph Rocco (Groton, MA) scored the only goal for the Owls to knot the game at 1-1.  The game went down to double overtime, but neither team could put the match away.  This game was extremely physical with 4 cautions dispersed between both teams. Cal Mintz had 1 save for the Owls and Jay Barney had 7 for the Warriors. 

Keene State will host RPI on Wednesday, October 11 at 6:30pm.
