Lesser, Taylor Earn LEC Goalie of the Week Honors
N. Dartmouth, Mass. 3/14/11 – Keene State College goalies Jason Lesser (Brewster, N.Y.) and Erin Taylor (Brewster, N.Y.) each earned male and female goalie of the week honors for their efforts last week.
Men’s
Lacrosse Goalie of the Week
Jason Lesser (Brewster, N.Y.), Sophomore, Keene State
College
Lesser sported a 4.50 goals against average and a .727 save
percentage to backstop Keene State to a pair of victories this past
week. The Brewster, N.Y. product reached double figures in saves in
each match. He did not allow the Bobcats to score a marker in the
first half en route to making a total of 11 stops . Four days
later, Lesser recorded a season-high 13 saves in the win over New
England College.
Women’s
Lacrosse Goalie of the Week
Erin Taylor (Brewster, N.Y.), Freshman, Keene State
College
Taylor posted a 8.52 goals against average and a .500 save
percentage to backstop Keene State to a 1-1 week. The rookie from
Brewster, N.Y. made eight stops to earn the victory in her
collegiate debut against St. Michael’s College. Later in the
week, she made a season-best nine saves against MIT.
