Meehan named ECAC men's lacrosse offensive player of the week

KEENE, N.H. 3/16/10 - Keene State's Griffin Meehan has been named Division III New England Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.  

In Keene State’s first three games of the season, Meeham. a sophomore from Simsbury, Conn., registered 14 goals and five assists for 19 total points to lead the Owls to a 2-1 mark. The sophomore attacker recorded at least six points in each game, including a trio of hat tricks. In the season opener at Bates, Meehan netted six points (4-2) and collected five ground balls in the overtime loss. He paced the Keene State offense with a pair of six-goal efforts against New England College and Wheaton (Mass.). Meehan registered a season-best eight points against the Lyons.
