Eight Owls named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

KEENE, N.H. 3/25/10 – The Keene State College field hockey team placed eight players on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic squad announced on Thursday. 

Seniors Vikki Stoessel (Derry, N.H.) and Tara Murphy (Salisbury, N.H.), junior Leigh Smith (Sanbornton, N.H.), sophomores Sabrina Cary (Salem, N.Y.), Aislynn Sherry (Rehoboth, Mass.) and Kelly McCall (Delmar, N.Y.), and freshmen Alexandra Billert (Center Conway, N.H.) and Kristy Mastropietro (Norwalk, Conn.) earned a spot on the team.

The National Academic Squad recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2009-10 academic year.
