Dallas, Benning Selected to Senior All-Star Game
KEENE, N.H. 11/02/09 - Keene State College field hockey seniors Carly Benning (Brewster, Mass.) and Erin Dallas (Marlow, N.H.) were selected to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Star game. The tandem will become the first two to be selected to represent the Owls in the same year.
This season Benning became the 7th Owl all-time to eclipse the 100 career point mark and is currently fifth all-time in goals with 50. The Brewster, Mass. native is currently first in the conference this season with 23 goals and 48 points.
Dallas has made a miraculous comeback from a post-surgical infection to play her final season. In doing so she has anchored the KSC defense playing sweeper and broke the KSC all-time assist record with 38 career assists back on October 21st against Salem State College.
The Owls will return to action Tuesday night, with a LEC Quarterfinal game at home against Salem State College at 6 p.m.
