Kyle Morrill, Sophomore, Baseball
Morrill batted .372 (16-for-43) during Keene State’s 12-game spring week trip to Arizona with 13 runs scored, four doubles, two triples, and a team high three home runs and 21 RBIs. Morrill, who played predominantly in centerfield, but also saw time at shortstop, had a home run, double and five RBIs in a 14-10 win against the College of New Jersey (3/13), a home run, triple and five RBIs in a 13-11 loss to Concordia (3/16), a 3-for-4 game with two doubles and two RBIs in a 16-14 setback to Johns Hopkins (3/18), and a two-for-4, one double and four RBI performance in a 11-4 win over Carleton College (3/20). Morrill played errorless ball in the field (22 putouts, six assists) and was successful in two of three stolen base attempts. Keene State finished its trip with a 7-5 record.
