Sophomore hurler who will be coach Howe's closer out of the pen in 2010...2009: Tied for the team-high in saves with two...made 14 appearences and pitched 13.2 innings with a 4.61 ERA...earned his first career save on against RIC (4/4/09) when he pitched an inning and struck out two batters in the 8-7 victory in Providence...Picked up his second save of the year in the LEC tournament against UMass-Boston on May 8th... Before KSC:  earned three varsity letters at Bethel (Conn.) where he earned All-Area and All-Conference honors as a senior... team advanced to second-round of state tournament the past three years... Dan is a health, promotion and fitness major.
