Junior transfer from UMass-Lowell looking to battle for playing time at third base this season...a dedicated player with an above average arm and a solid bat....Before KSC:  Played two season for the River Hawks primarily seeing action at third base....Appeared in 27 games with 17 starts as a freshman at UML...Highlights include an 8-3 win over Saint Michael's in which he went 1-for-1 with a single, walk and run; as well as a 1-for-3 effort in a 6-2 win at Pace, going 1-for-3 with a walk, single and run...played in 16 games with seven starts last year....batted .242 with a couple of doubles and two RBIs...four-year starter at Spaulding H.S. for coach Jerry Lachance...earned first team all-state honors as a junior and senior...named to Foster's Democrat dream team and received Golden bat award from his team....senior team was ranked #1 in the state before being upset in the Class L tournament...an American Legion All-tar....Rochester Post #7 team made two trip to the state championship....Mark is a political science major.
