Junior hurler who returns to the team after a red-shirt-season with a shoulder injury...a hardworker who keeps batters off balance with his movement around the plate.....came to Keene State after pitching two seasons at Manchester (Conn.) Community College...had a staff-high five saves for MCC's NJCAA Division III, Region 21 Championship team in 2008 as a sophomore. The right hander was 0-1 with a 4.35 ERA with 10 strikeouts and five walks for the Cougars, who went 29-11 under then-ninth year Head Coach Chris Strahowski. Garrison also led the staff with 14 appearances - all in relief... As a freshman in 2007, Garrison made eight relief appearances with a 1.97 ERA and seven strikeouts in 13 2/3 innings. Garrison also appeared in 15 games as an infielder, all starts, and hit .298 (14 for 47) with three RBI, three runs scored and a .389 on-base percentage....Before MCC: A two-year starter and three-year participant as a pitcher and middle infielder on the Berlin High School baseball team...junior team won Class L state championship....underwent elbow surgery and missed the 2005 season...A second baseman for the Berlin American Legion Baseball team in 2004 and '06...his cousin, Gary Waslewski, started Game Five of the 1967 World Series for the Boston Red Sox and pitched in the major leagues for six seasons (1967-72), including for the Red Sox (67-68) and New York Yankees (70-71)...Kevin is a safety studies major.
