Junior transfer from William Patterson University....a versatile player who can play multiple middle infield positions, but looks to see most of his time at shortstop for the Owls....a leader on the field....At WPU: Played two seasons at WPU....hit .303 in 39 games (38 starts) during his first season as a Pioneer in 2008 ... had 30 runs scored, 44 hits, five doubles and 24 RBI at second base, also adding a home run and two triples ... had 14 multi-hit efforts, including a 5-for-5 day with a home run, three RBI and four runs scored in a 22-8 victory against Calvin (3/14/08) ... went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and four RBI during a 12-5 win against Rutgers-Camden (4/12/08) ... swa action in nine games last spring before suffering a season-ending back injury...transferred from Gloucester County College, where he batted .296 in 16 games in 2007 ... helped lead his Holy Cross H.S. team to a league championship as a senior in 2006 ... named to All-City team...also earned All-City honors on school's football team...Vin is a coaching/health studies major.
