Cody Callahan, Freshman, Baseball

Making his debut for the Owls during their spring week trip to Phoenix, Callahan batted a scorching .510 batting and 1.06 slugging pct, with five home runs, 10 doubles, one triple, and 24 RBIs.  Trip highlights include a 4-for-5 game against the College of New Jersey with two doubles, a home run and a school tying seven RBIs.  He also went six-for seven in a doubleheader against Brockport State with two home runs and five RBIs.  The freshman from Seekonk, Mass. also went five-for eight in a twinbill against Pomona Pitzer with two home runs and three RBIs. He wrapped up the trip with a four-for four game (all doubles) and three RBIs against Concordia.
