Stromgren Named ECAC Pitcher of the Week

KEENE, N.H. 4/11/07 - Keene State College's Rick Stromgren has benn named ECAC Division III New England Pitcher of the Week.

In his only appearance, Stromgren tossed a complete game nine-inning four hitter against UMass Dartmouth in a 5-0 win. The Keene, N.H. native fanned five and didn't issue a walk to improve his personal record to 4-1.With the victory, Stromgren established a new benchmark for career wins at Keene State (17). In two appearances this season, he boasts a 2-0 mark with a 0.56 earned run average in 16 innings of work.
