The Little East honored a pair of KSC athletes on Monday

KEENE, N.H. 4/13/09 - A member of the Keene State women's lacrosse and track team were honored by the Little East Conference on Monday.

Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Jamie Albert (Southington, Conn.), Sophomore, Attack, Keene State College
Albert netted 10 goals against New England College to set the single-game goals record, surpassing the previous standard by one marker.  The Southington, Conn. native registered her record-breaking tally in overtime, but it wasn't enough as Keene State was edged 19-18. Albert scored her 11th goal of the week in a victory at Little East rival Western Connecticut on April 11.

Women's  Field Athlete of the Week
Samantha Hirsh (Holliston, Mass.), Senior, Keene State College

Hirsh provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the javelin throw with a toss of 135'-04". She won the event at the George Davis Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell.
