Four Owls Receive LEC Honors

Beau Darak (Londonderry, N.H.), Sophomore, First Base, Keene
State College
Darak led Keene State College to its first outright Little East
Conference Regular Season Championship this past weekend, batting
.571 (4-for-7) in a conference doubleheader against Rhode Island
College. The sophomore from Londonderry, N.H. belted four home runs
and drove in seven RBI against the Anchormen. Darak matched the
Owls' single-game home run record with three dingers in the second
game of the twinbill. He hit safely in both contests, including a
3-for-3 performance and five RBI in the regular season
finale.

Field Athlete of the Week
Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.), Freshman, Keene
State College
Kolacz earned a pair of Division III All-New England honors
this past weekend, medaling in the discus and hammer throws,
respectively. The native of Brentwood, N.H. improved his NCAA
provisional qualifying mark in the discus with a second-place toss
of 145'-08. Kolacz also tossed the hammer 173'-04 to earn fourth
place.

Crystal Blamy (Walpole, N.H.), Senior, Keene State
College
Blamy continued to add to her impressive outdoor track and field
resume this past weekend at the Division III New England
Championships. The senior from Walpole, N.H. captured the high jump
event with a leap of 5'-5.00".
Field Athlete of the Week
Bryanna Brown (Nashua, N.H.), Freshman, Keene State
College
Brown placed fourth in the shot put event at the Division III New
England Championships this past week with a mark of 38'-11.75".
