KEENE, N.H. - Both KSC basketball teams have a three-game conference week while the swimming and diving and track and field teams get back in action as 2019 continues.
The Owls play the final of three consecutive road games when they visit in-state foe Plymouth State University on Tuesday, January 8 at 5:30 p.m. Both teams are in search of their first conference victory. KSC then returns home for the first time in over a month on Thursday, January 10 when they take on LEC newcomer Castleton University at 5:30 p.m. before a matchup at Eastern Connecticut State University on Saturday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. The Warriors enter the week with a 4-0 conference record, while the University of Southern Maine and UMass Boston are both 4-1.
Keene State has their first matchup of the season with Plymouth State on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m. The Panthers will enter the matchup at 4-1 in the conference, one of four teams in the league with one Little East loss, while the Owls are 2-2 after dropping their last two LEC games. KSC then has their first home game since December 8 when they take on Castleton on Thursday, January 10 at 7:30 p.m. The Spartans joined the Little East at the beginning of this academic year after being in the North Atlantic Conference previously. The week wraps up with the Owls visiting Eastern Connecticut on Saturday, January 12 in a rematch of last year's LEC Tournament championship game won by the Warriors. The game tips off at 3:00 p.m.
Indoor Track and Field
Both indoor track and field teams will open 2019 by traveling to Medford, Mass. for the Tufts Invitational on Saturday, January 12.
Swimming and Diving
KSC swimming and diving gets back into the pool on Saturday, January 12 when both the men and women host Bentley University at 1:00 p.m. in the last of their two home meets this season.
